Focus: Algebra, functions, trigonometry, calculus, statistics and probability, and mathematical reasoning.

Assessment: Paper 1 (40%), Paper 2 (40%), Internal Assessment (20%).

Reform: The current course was first assessed in 2021; this is not an Ontario provincial curriculum reform.

Programme focus: AA SL emphasizes algebraic and analytic reasoning, functions and calculus, with mathematical communication and an exploration.
AA SL强调代数与解析推理、函数和微积分，也重视数学表达与探索。
Practice intensity: Use regular, purposeful practice: explain concepts, solve independently, check answers and revisit mistakes. More worksheets alone do not guarantee mastery.
坚持有目的的规律训练：解释概念、独立解题、验算、复盘错题。单纯增加练习量并不保证掌握。
Proficiency and early support: Evaluate accuracy, fluency and transfer to unfamiliar questions. Identify gaps promptly and adjust practice to the student’s needs.
